AIDA Cluj invites you at a unique training course: PLAYBACK Theatre, probably the only one of this kind in Romania! The event will take place in 25 - 27 April at Bastionul Croitorilor, Cluj-Napoca.

Playback Theatre is an expressive art, quite new, being born as alternative theatre in 1975. It's creator, Jonathan Fox, highlightes 2 major element: the return to a specific event and the improvisation theatre play - reffering at the team and the process. As a method, Playback Theatre can be used in education, in personal development, in psichodrama, in socioal animation. Playback Theatre is more than a form of art, it's a form of theraphy, a method used in education, and can be used in the private sector, by non-profit organisations, universities or recreation centers. In the last years, the method has been used with succes in a lot of fields due it's flexibility and the ease of implementing it in different contexts and groups.
Shirly Legum is a graduate of U.C Berkeley California with a degree in dance and dramatic arts, as well as Haifa and Jerusalem universities in dance and group therapy; she is currently a student of Psychotherapy in Adler's Institute, Israel. Shirly is a member of Aviva's Apple playback company "Play Life" in Tel-Aviv, Israel. She is a professional theatre actress and a playback theatre teacher/leader in Israel and worldwide.
This opportunity is opened for all those people interested in Playback Theatre, no matter what is their profession: trainers, facilitator, teachers, animators, youth workers, social workers, therapists, psychiterapists, coaches, psychodramatists, actors, students, people interested in expressing themselves through theatre.
AIDA along with Shirly Legum, offers you 3 training days!
Training structure:
- 4 working sessions/day, meaning 18 training hours in 3 days.
- the training ends with a participation certificate
Training schedule:
10:00 – 11:30 – First session
11:30 – 11:45 – Coffee/tea & snack break ( provided by the organisers)
11:45 – 13:15 – Second session
13:15 – 14:15 – Lunch break
14:15 – 15:45 – Third session
15:45 – 16:00 – Coffee/tea & snack break ( provided by the organisers)
16:00 – 17:30 – Forth session
Official language: English.
Price: 500 ron/person.
Includes: trainers fee and administrative costs, coffee breaks and snaks, course materials.
Not included: accommodation costs or meal for participants!
